Curious Minds, Jewish Hearts

An elementary school serving families from all branches of Jewish life, MJCDS students build both a love of learning and a profound connection to Jewish life and heritage.

Our talented teachers provide a challenging and inspiring dual curriculum in both general and Jewish studies. They are dedicated to creating a learning environment that cultivates students’ intellectual growth and self-confidence.

MJCDS students gain both the skills and the desire to become intrepid explorers of the world around them. Their time at MJCDS establishes a strong foundation for meaningful learning for a lifetime.

Discover Day School

Our school offers a program of both general and Jewish studies, including daily instruction in Hebrew language. A low teacher-student ratio ensures that teachers can know and meet student’s learning styles, strengths, and specific interests.

From hands-on science experiments to student- led book discussions to explorations of Jewish texts and modern Hebrew language studies, students pursue subjects in ways that challenge their intellect and feed their curiosity.

In the academic environment at MJCDS--where students are encouraged to ask questions and to become critical thinkers --the desire to learn is an innate result of a many-layered curriculum. Academic topics are explored in depth, while connections between subjects are emphasized, leading to a rich understanding of materials and concepts.
