We’re so glad you are considering MJCDS for your child. MJCDS offers a program of both general and Jewish studies, including daily instruction in Hebrew language. A low teacher-student ratio ensures that teachers can know and meet student’s learning styles, strengths, and interests.

From hands-on science experiments to student- led book discussions to explorations of Jewish texts and modern Hebrew language studies, students pursue subjects in ways that challenge their intellect and feed their curiosity.

The best way to get to know MJCDS is to visit us.  To arrange a visit, please contact Rabbi Rebecca Ben-Gideon at (608) 204-9900 or at  During a tour you can expect to:

We'd be happy to connect you with current families, who can share their MJCDS experiences with you. Here's a sample of what our families say about MJCDS:

“MJCDS is a special place, where each child’s individuality is recognized and prized, and where parents and teachers are all part of a community dedicated to helping our children blossom. The bilingual curriculum, along with great science, math, and arts instruction are major assets. I don’t think there is a better school in Madison. The teachers and head of school are fully and enthusiastically committed to helping each child grow and learn, and the very small class sizes allows a unique level of creativity and spontaneity.”  —Hanna Grol-Norris, parent

A deposit of $3000 (one deposit per family), applicable to your final tuition balance, is due March 1.
